Welcome Travelers!
‘Your Party Meets at a Tavern’ returns! Thanks to your fantastic support, we will now be hosting our event every month on the 3rd Thursday of the month.
For our monthly event, we will be separating our D&D social from the rave for the majority of our events, allowing us to focus in on one-shots and D&D related content.
Each event will continue to feature themed drinks, coffee by Dragon Roast, art and merch at Azelian’s booth, and a wealth of D&D resources to enjoy. We are also heavily focusing on the development of the Mythos Vansia compendium, a lore-rich campaign setting created by our founder Reks, and will soon be launching a kickstarter for the purposes of development and publication.
For those of you who enjoyed our rave, we plan to bring this segment back at future events! Every third month, we will host an additional event on the last Friday of the month in the same style as our first, opening the evening with a casual D&D social and ending with a 4-hour rave, with music by NoFlyGuy. Attendees of our other events will receive discounted rates on entry to this special event.
Our venue is furry-friendly, so feel free to bring your fursuit or cosplay, but make sure you’re unmasked when entering for ID check.
Social Hour
The doors of The Tavern open at 5pm, welcoming adventurers of all kinds to gather for a social hour.
The first hour of our event is dedicated to making new friends. Grab a craft cocktail from the bar, or a fresh cup of Dragon Roast coffee and take a seat to enjoy some quality time with your fellow adventurers.
Character Creation
It’s time to form the party! While returning adventurers may already have characters crafted, new players are welcome to grab a character sheet and a spot at a table at any time. While one-shots are in session, we request that new players not interrupt the DM for questions, but experienced attendees are encouraged to help newcomers with the process.
During breaks in play sessions, our DM(s) will be available to assist new players with the process of character creation. Feel free to arrive early or stay late for some help with filling out your sheet as well!
DM’s will assist players with matching their character’s level to the level of the adventure prior to starting the first session of the game.
Prepare for Adventure!
From 6pm-7pm our DM will run session prep, taking time with players to ensure everything is in order for the planned adventure. This includes filling in missing information on character sheets and leveling characters appropriately.
For our first session, we will begin at 7pm with character discussion, covering and crafting backstories for your characters and for the setting of the adventure itself so each player can seamlessly integrate into the sessions ahead.
The remainder of our time will be spent in actual play with any characters who want to participate. Audiences are encouraged. For our events in March and beyond, 7pm will mark the start time of actual play sessions.
Tavern Rave
Our tavern rave is now becoming a quarterly event!
For the 2026 year, we will be hosting additional combined events in April, July, and October on the last Friday of the month (Announcements will be made in advance for any schedule alterations). These special events will feature our D&D social from 5pm – 10pm, followed by a rave.
At 10pm, NoFlyGuy takes the stage to bring you a stellar set, so your adventuring party can dance the night away.
Music runs till 2am, with a mix of EDM genres for your listening pleasure.
Guests are welcome to continue their D&D discussions at the available tables, or grab some extra drinks and hit the dancefloor.
Additional Games
As our event grows, seats at the game table may be limited for the purposes of balance. While we will do our best to facilitate player rotations for fairness, it sucks to be left out!
We encourage experienced (or new) DM’s to volunteer to run your own sessions in parallel with ours! There is plenty of space in the Tavern for multiple games to run at once.
Our setting is built to allow for players to move characters seamlessly between partnered sessions, allowing you to participate in multiple one-shots with the same character, and even shift between them mid-story!
Azelian is currently in the process of constructing a setting primer containing all the necessary information DM’s need to run their own sessions as part of our event. This primer will be made available as soon as possible to allow seamless integration of your one-shots into the overall setting.
An announcement will be made once this primer has been released, and both digital and physical copies will be available for use.
No Hate
Homophobia, Transphobia, Racism, and other forms of hate will not be tolerated under any conditions. Our organization and venue are both LGBTQIA+ and furry friendly, so be nice! Violators will be banned.
21+
While we encourage friends of all ages to enjoy the wonderful world of tabletop, our venue is strictly 21+, no exceptions. ID is required at the door.
Respect
Respect the space and property. We will prosecute if any property is stolen. Damaged property will incur fees for replacement or repair. We also ask that guests respect the games while in session! Please don’t heckle DM’s or players during sessions.
Service
We reserve the right to refuse drinks or entry to anyone. For safety purposes you will be cut off if you are overly intoxicated.
Food
There will be no food menu available for our current event. No outside drinks are allowed, but guests are welcome to bring snacks. Please avoid bringing snacks with peanuts or peanut oil as one of our hosts has a severe allergy.
Dress Code
While this is a 21+ event, please be mindful of the fact that the interior of the bar is visible from the street. Risque or revealing cosplay or rave outfits are allowed at your discretion so long as it complies with local public decency laws. (IE: private areas must be covered at minimum)
Vending
Azelian Events currently maintains exclusive vending rights for this event. Sale of any merchandise or products by guests is not permitted except through the Azelian booth. If you are interested in vending, please contact Azelian directly.
Weapons
Real weapons are not allowed on-premises. Prop weapons must be examined and peace-bonded by security upon entry.
Re-Entry
Guests are permitted to exit and re-enter at will, so long as they still have their entry wristband or a copy of their ticket and photo ID.

The team behind the Delver’s Guide to Beastworld is heavily involved in the furry community, and their campaign guide reflects this with a wealth of anthropomorphic races never before seen in D&D.
Vanis: a world rich in magic, history, and intrigue. The brainchild of Azelian founder Reks, the world of Vanis is a vast web of lore 10 years in the making. Featuring a custom pantheon of dragon Gods and a wide breadth of homebrew classes, races, and extended systems, Vanis is a constantly expanding creation for players to explore.
